Just before noon today, Salem Fiber experienced a significant upstream failure that impacted both of our internet providers. As a result, our network was without service for approximately 45 minutes. We sincerely apologize for the disruption this caused.
If you are still without internet access, please try unplugging your router, waiting 10 seconds, and then plugging it back in. Your service should restore automatically. If it doesn’t, please call us at 385-437-4411.
To everyone who tried to reach us during the outage—we’re truly sorry we couldn’t answer every call. Our team was fully focused on restoring service as quickly as possible.
While outages like this are rare, we understand how disruptive they can be. We’re actively working on additional network redundancy improvements, scheduled to come online later this year, to further enhance reliability.
